About this role

Senior Quality Manager

Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Richmond, IN (Relocation Provided)

Some quality leadership roles are about maintaining standards.

This one is about helping shape what comes next.

A major dairy manufacturer is looking for a Senior Quality Manager to lead food safety and quality at one of its most technically complex operations. This is a site producing both extended shelf life and aseptic dairy products, operating in a segment that continues to see significant investment and growth.

The foundations are there. The site has come a long way over the last few years, but there is still work to do as systems, processes, and culture continue to evolve. They need someone who can bring technical credibility, strong leadership, and the ability to raise standards without losing people along the way.

You will be the most senior food safety and quality leader on site, responsible for everything from regulatory compliance and audit readiness through to laboratory operations, environmental monitoring, sanitation oversight, and quality culture. You'll work closely with operations while maintaining an independent voice, ensuring food safety and product integrity remain at the centre of every decision.

This is not a role for someone who only understands quality from a systems perspective. The technical depth required here is significant. You'll need to understand the science behind aseptic and ultra-pasteurised dairy manufacturing, be comfortable discussing validation, microbiology, statistics, and regulatory requirements, and have the confidence to lead during customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.

Just as important is your ability to lead people. The site operates around the clock in a unionised environment and the team is looking for someone who can coach, influence, and develop others while continuing to strengthen a food safety culture that is still maturing.

The business itself offers something increasingly rare. Stability. Significant investment. A strong track record of internal promotion. And the backing of an organisation that continues to invest heavily in its facilities, technology, and people.

If you are a dairy quality leader who enjoys combining science, leadership, and continuous improvement, and you're looking for an opportunity where your expertise will genuinely matter, this is worth a conversation.

Let's talk in confidence.
