About Made With Intent Made With Intent is an agentic decision engine that gives experience leads at ecommerce businesses a new way to improve the impact of their onsite experiences. Most ecommerce websites currently deliver the same experiences to every visitor using predefined rules, based on what they’ve done before. There is a gap between what visitors need at each moment and what sites delivers to them. We think this is broken, limiting impact and losing sales. Our decision engine decides who gets what and when - or whether to do nothing - per visitor, per moment. Based on what each visitor is doing right now and what makes most impact toward your target metrics. Not on set website-first rules. Not on what works for “on average”. Not on what each visitor has already done. About our marketing function Up until recently, our marketing team was just Dan, our VP Marketing. You’d be joining him and Jon, our new Head of Content, as we start to build out a proper function, with content and product marketing at it’s core. To date, our focus has been mainly on building awareness around the problem we’re solving and why we’re uniquely positioned to solve it. We have an exciting product and a unique perspective backed by genuine expertise. We have all the proprietary data we could wish for. We have the subject matter experts. We’ve iterated on our product, positioning and product as we’ve moved towards product-market fit. Now, we believe we’re really onto something. We know what we're building. And we know that we're missing a specialised person to effectively take it to market. Someone who can take what we know about our product and our market and create conviction before a prospect even speaks to us. Someone who'll sit in product meetings and be the voice asking things like: What does our customer actually think? What does the market want? Someone who’ll then translate what they uncover into messaging, videos, enablement and launches that do real commercial work. That’s you. Hopefully. About the opportunity & responsibilities You'll be joining to lead product marketing at Made With Intent. Reporting to and working with Dan, you'll build the function and a consistent flow of output as our founding PMM. To help you do this, you will be embedded in our product team to work directly with the people working on the product, add a commercial lens and translate what we’re building into impactful marketing moments. You'll be in the room when decisions get made, and your job in those conversations is to bring the customer into them. To have genuine input into what gets built and how it gets positioned. With work on new positioning and pricing already underway, you’ll be expected to work with and iterate on this in collaboration with the wider team. The hope is for the successful candidate to grow into a Head of Product Marketing role and take ownership of this over the next 18 months. This role is really about doing three things: Being the commercial link between our product and our market Creating excitement and conviction in what we’re building Building up product marketing as a key pillar in MWI Key responsibilities include: Audience research & insights: Own our understanding of who we're selling to. That goes beyond job titles and firmographics. Know their workflows, their pressures, their language, and what's keeping them up at night. Bring that intelligence into product conversations as a continuous input, and use it as the foundation for everything else you do. Positioning & messaging: Lead our positioning work, building on the foundations already in place. Not just what we do, but why it matters to the specific people it matters to. Develop the messaging frameworks and translate them across contexts: product launches, website copy, sales decks, onboarding flows, partner materials. Work with Dan on the broader narrative and keep things tight as the product evolves. Product launches & release content: Plan and run product launches end to end: strategy, messaging, channel approach, measurement. Build a product release content system so that every feature update, capability launch or roadmap milestone gets translated into something the market can understand and act on. Know which releases warrant a full GTM push and which just need a sharp, well-timed update. Either way, ensure we’re regularly sharing our product and its unique attributes. Sales enablement: Build and maintain the assets and tools that let sales move faster and close more. That means comparison content, marketecture visuals, tools, slides, objection guides etc. You’ll work closely with our sales team to understand what they need or what’s getting in their way, then fix it. Content strategy & creation: Work closely with Jon, our Head of Content, to make sure product marketing and content marketing are genuinely aligned. You own the product-led content narrative; Jon owns the wider execution engine. Expect to create directly too, not just brief and delegate. Think videos, tools and assets, not just written pieces. Campaign orchestration: Bridge functions when we're running integrated campaigns; aligning, sequencing, briefing, and measuring across channels. You won't own paid or run distribution day to day, but you'll be the person making sure the message holds together end to end. User onboarding & growth: Work on the onboarding flows, activation triggers, and nurture sequences for our product. Work with product to understand where people drop off and why, then work on changes, content and campaigns to help. While you won't initially own pricing, you'll be involved and need to understand how we monetise, activate and expand our customers, then work to support both. Customer voice & proof: Get customers into everything we do. Build and maintain a repository of case studies and customer stories, with a focus on sector-specific proof and real ROI figures. Develop the content that helps prospects see themselves in the results. Own the story of what winning with Made With Intent actually looks like. Competitive intelligence: Keep a working understanding of our competitive landscape. Not a feature comparison spreadsheet. How our alternatives position themselves, what problems they're claiming to solve, and where we have a genuine edge worth leaning into. An honest view of where we’re best (or not). What you need to be qualified 4+ years of product marketing experience, with evidence of impactful work on propositions, launches and enablement Early-stage startup experience (seed to Series C) where you've had to build things as well as run them, and you've been comfortable with the ambiguity that comes with both B2B SaaS background, ideally in a sales-led or trial-led motion where what marketing produces is a direct lever on revenue A strong independent thinker , with the ability to express opinions, disagree and represent our customer in any room Familiarity with how software is built and integrated. You don't need to be an engineer to apply, but you will need to understand what the product is, SDKs, APIs etc. Strong writing and messaging skills. You've written for different contexts, you have a clear point of view on what good looks like, and you can point to work you're proud of Track record of orchestrating launches and campaigns across product, sales and marketing teams. You know what it takes to align people and bring something to market well Real fluency with AI tools for research, content creation and market intelligence. This isn't an optional extra here. A high quality bar. You care about the craft, you notice when something's off, and the work you put your name to reflects that Nice to haves: Experience marketing tech to ecommerce brands, especially the experience leads and buyers within them Experience working closely with or embedded in a product team A previous role as a founding Product Marketer in a pre-product market fit company An ecosystem or partner marketing background What we're offering A formula-based salary, benchmarked to industry data and adjusted for where you're based. If shortlisted, we'll share the range for your location up front. No awkward negotiation necessary. While not guaranteed, we want to expand our option pool to all team members. When you pass probation, you'd be part of a share options review should it happen. Dan would fight for it. A brilliant pension scheme including 10% employer contributions, NIC pass-back, and a dedicated financial advisor to support your investment planning A genuinely balanced culture. Gym coverage, private healthcare for you and your family, and unlimited holidays Remote-first working, with quarterly offsites where the whole team gets together, and a co-working budget for meet-ups or something more permanent Ownership of your work. We'll set goals collaboratively, but you have autonomy over how to get there A clear trajectory. We're hiring a Senior PMM with an explicit path to Head of Product Marketing. We'll work with you to support that deliberately. A small, experienced team where your voice and ideas matter. We hire adults who act with integrity Have a specific request? Ask. From the title to Visa sponsorship or specific needs, if it helps us find the right person, we'll do what we can ----- To be considered for the role , complete your LinkedIn application and then put together a short video or note responding to the below and share it with Dan over email at dan[at]madewithintent.ai.
