About the Role We are looking for an experienced NZ Registered Physiotherapist to work as a Senior Physiotherapist within Cardiorespiratory Outpatients. This role is based at Greenlane Clinical Centre and is a permanent position between 0.8- 1FTE (32-40 hours/week) depending on candidate preference. Our service supports hospital speciality clinics and services such as cardiology, respiratory and heart and lung transplant, and we also those referred from General Practices with the Auckland catchment area This key role is an ideal opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist wanting to develop their leadership capabilities and advance their skills in: Implementing evidence-based practice and service development Motivating, guiding and developing junior staff and physiotherapy students Clinical expertise and leadership Support equity of health outcomes by incorporating processes into practice that reduce inequities This role will also see you performing the below duties: Manage a clinical caseload while supporting with day to day coordination and leadership for a team of approximately six physiotherapists You will also have an opportunity to play an active role in quality improvement, staff and service development Work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary bicultural environment Support equity of health outcomes by incorporating processes into practice that reduce inequities Provide preceptorship to static and rotational staff Participate in our weekend and on-call roster About the Team Our team is made up of passionate and supportive Physiotherapists motivated to improve the quality of life and health outcomes of the communities we serve. Our Cardiorespiratory outpatient team is made of up 6 physiotherapists- An Advanced Clinician, 1 Senior, 3 static physiotherapists and 1 rotational. Our wider Physiotherapy team consists of 94FTE, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
