Senior Gulfstream Technician (AMT) Hot Job SLC - Salt Lake City, UT 84116; OGD - Ogden, UT 84405 Apply Overview Salary Range $45.00 - $55.00 Hourly Category Maintenance Apply Description About the Role: SkyShare is seeking a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) with extensive Gulfstream experience to support our growing fleet of turbine and turboprop aircraft. Based primarily at our SLC facility with travel to OGD and on-call locations as needed, you’ll play a key role in maximizing fleet availability, safety, and performance across all platforms. In addition to maintaining various airframes, you’ll serve as the resident Gulfstream subject matter exper t, mentoring teammates, supporting apprentices, and fostering a collaborative, safety-focused culture. The Mission for this Position: Your mission is to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and document aircraft maintenance and alterations in accordance with 14 CFR regulations, manufacturer guidance, and SkyShare’s General Maintenance Manual. You will perform hands-on maintenance across a premium fleet that includes Gulfstream, Embraer, Pilatus, Citation, and other turbine-powered aircraft, with a special emphasis on Gulfstream G450/G550/GV expertise. Your knowledge and leadership will ensure fleet airworthiness while helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient maintenance operation. Qualifications Job Responsibilities: Perform Aircraft Maintenance: Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across turbine and turboprop aircraft, with emphasis on Gulfstream G450/G550/GV platforms Troubleshoot Systems: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and avionics discrepancies using sound judgment and technical expertise with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Perform all maintenance in accordance with 14 CFR regulations and SkyShare standards Leverage Digital Tools: Accurately input and manage data using maintenance tracking systems and scheduling software Maintain Accurate Documentation: Record all maintenance activities in compliance with FAA and internal documentation requirements Collaborate Across Departments: Coordinate with multiple teams and departments to optimize aircraft readiness and turnaround time Travel as Needed: Provide maintenance support at SLC, OGD, and remote on-call locations as required Deliver Exceptional Service: Uphold SkyShare’s “Deliver the Wow” standard by ensuring high-touch service while maintaining strict compliance and safety Support Team Culture: Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative hangar environment Qualifications: Education & Licenses: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred, but not required Factory training on Gulfstream aircraft is highly preferred Factory training on Embraer, Pilatus, or Citation aircraft preferred, but not required Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining turbine and turboprop aircraft, including substantial hands-on experience supporting Gulfstream G450/G550/GV aircraft Strong understanding of 14 CFR Part 135 regulations and aviation safety standards Experienced with maintenance tracking programs (e.g., Traxxall, Ebis) and skilled in using digital platforms for documentation and compliance Skills & Attributes: Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills across multiple aircraft types Demonstrated ability to mentor less-experienced technicians and positively influence team culture Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high-urgency environment while working both independently and collaboratively under pressure Personal/Character Requirements: Adaptability & Resilience: Maintains a safety-first mindset and thrives in dynamic, high-pressure environments Effective Communication: Possesses exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal skills, ensuring professionalism across all levels of the organization Responsiveness & Accountability: Demonstrates excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and follow-through skills, consistently demonstrating high accountability in all actions Culture & Mentorship: Serves as a positive influence in the hangar by modeling professionalism, supporting team morale, and fostering a collaborative environment where apprentices and peers learn safe, efficient, and constructive maintenance habits while maintaining a clean and organized work environment Salary, Schedule, and Perks: Salary: $45–$55 per hour, DOE Overtime may be required based on operational timelines and fleet needs Offering a $5k sign-on bonus for direct hires (not applicable to recruiting agency placements) Relocation assistance may be offered Schedule: Day Shift Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision plans available Life Insurance: Employer-paid for your peace of mind, with optional additional coverage available Retirement: 401(k) Plan with employer match options Time Off: Competitive paid time off policy Travel Perks: Enjoy free flights on unoccupied trips Location: Must reside in or be willing and able to relocate to the Salt Lake City, Utah area.
