About the role Roles like this don’t come up often. As our Senior Contracts Specialist , you’ll sit at the centre of how Aurelia buys, partners and protects the business by shaping service and materials contracts that keep multiple sites moving safely, efficiently and commercially. You’ll work side-by-side with operations, procurement and legal to lead negotiations, build strong contract frameworks, and manage risk. From tender evaluation through to claims, variations and performance conversations. Roster: Monday – Friday (Hybrid + Site Travel) Location: Brisbane CBD Key responsibilities Lead contract management across the full lifecycle, from development through to performance monitoring, through to closeout Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver clear, effective contract solutions Support and lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers Maintain accurate, compliant contract documentation and records Monitor contractor performance and manage variations and claims Build strong, trusted relationships across the business and with suppliers Identify opportunities to improve value, reduce risk and strengthen commercial outcomes Qualifications and experience Extensive experience in contracts / supply / contract administration Degree in law or a business-related discipline Strong understanding of contract and general law Confidence to support negotiations Clear communicator with strong report writing and stakeholder skills Comfortable working across operations, legal, procurement and suppliers Strong systems capability (MS Office + ERP systems) Mining experience is valuable but not essential MAKE AN IMPACT, GET RECOGNISED – BE AN AURELIAN At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
