Mechanical Construction Project Manager – Semiconductor Projects Location: Phoenix, AZ Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Bonus + Full Benefits + Relocation Assistance Build the Facilities Powering the Future of Technology We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead complex semiconductor construction projects throughout the Phoenix market. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing contractor delivering some of the most technically advanced manufacturing facilities in North America. If you have experience managing large-scale mechanical scopes within semiconductor, microelectronics, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical environments, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do As a Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of highly technical mechanical systems supporting semiconductor fabrication facilities (fabs), cleanrooms, and advanced manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and field execution Coordinate closely with owners, design teams, vendors, trade partners, and field leadership Drive project safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation Support preconstruction efforts including estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews Develop recovery plans and mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within budget Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers Semiconductor Experience Preferred Qualified candidates may have experience with: Base-Build Mechanical Systems Central utility plants Chilled water systems Process cooling water (PCW) Condenser water systems HVAC and air handling systems Exhaust and scrubber systems Boiler systems Compressed dry air (CDA) Vacuum systems Specialty gas infrastructure Tool Installation & Hook-Up Semiconductor process tools Lithography tools Etch tools Deposition tools CMP tools Metrology and inspection equipment Wet bench systems Cleanroom support equipment Cleanroom Environments ISO Class 3, 4, 5, and 6 cleanrooms Semiconductor fabrication facilities (fabs) Advanced packaging facilities Research and development cleanrooms High-purity manufacturing environments Installation Scopes High-purity piping systems Process piping Mechanical equipment setting Utility distribution systems Tool utility connections Prefabrication and modular construction Startup, commissioning, and owner turnover What We're Looking For 5+ years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction Semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom experience strongly preferred Proven success managing projects ranging from $10M–$250M+ Strong understanding of mechanical systems, scheduling, cost control, and project execution Experience with contract management, procurement, and subcontractor coordination Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, highly technical construction environments Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred Why Join Us?
