About Us Our private schools prepare and empower each student for successful experiences in school, at home, and in the community by providing a structured, nurturing, and therapeutic learning environment. We have locations in Urbana and Rossville, IL, and are currently hiring for our Rossville location. The School Social Worker plans, prepares, and provides counseling to students weekly and as specified on the IEP or program requirements. Solid counseling and excellent written and oral communication skills are required. This role also requires someone who is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; maintain confidentiality; and prioritize multiple responsibilities while working cooperatively with other members of the treatment team. Candidates must possess a Masters in Social Work with an Illinois School Social Work License, LCSW, LSW, LCPC or LPC. Additionally, a minimum of three years experience working with students with emotional/behavioral disabilities in a therapeutic day treatment school preferred. Qualifications Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (required). Certification: Valid Illinois School Social Work License , LCSW , LSW , LCPC , or LPC Experience: Minimum of three years of experience working with students with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities in a therapeutic day treatment school setting preferred.
