Job Description The Role We are looking for an experienced Sales & Proposal Manager to lead bid strategy and proposal execution for AC Substation (ACS) and FACTS turnkey projects across ASEAN. Reporting to the Sr Sales and Proposal Manager, this role sits at the intersection of commercial leadership, customer engagement, and cross-functional coordination. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who can shape winning proposals, build trusted customer relationships, and drive profitable growth in complex grid infrastructure projects. What You’ll Do Lead the full proposal lifecycle: from opportunity identification to final submission and outcome follow-up Define and execute bid strategies for ACS and FACTS turnkey projects across ASEAN Partner with engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and other teams to build strong, competitive proposals Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor positioning to strengthen bid quality Develop pricing strategies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for bids and contract terms Support sales growth through strong customer engagement and commercial positioning Lead negotiations with customers and subcontractors on commercial and contractual matters What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a local or internationally recognized institution Experience in sales, proposal, or tender leadership for complex turnkey projects is essential Strong Techno-Commercial experience of Turnkey Substation and FACTS solution. Multiple country (Within ASEAN region) project experience is preferred. At least 15 years experience in grid, power, or electrical infrastructure/construction projects Demonstrated expertise in commercial operations, contract negotiation, and bid strategy Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in an international, matrix organization Excellent Communication skills Willingness to travel 40%+ What Will Help You Succeed Strong customer-facing presence, both technically and commercially Ability to build influential relationships across customer organizations Expertise in tender management, team leadership, and team development High level of operational rigor and ownership Strong judgment in balancing competitiveness, risk, and profitability Why Join Grid Solutions?
