Private Chef – Winter Season (Niseko) Spend your winter in one of Japan’s most sought-after alpine destinations, creating exceptional dining experiences within a portfolio of premium private chalets. At H2 Life, we deliver personalised, high-quality stays for guests from around the world. As a Private Chef , you will play a central role in the guest experience — crafting memorable meals that complement each stay and elevate the overall holiday experience. About the Role This is a unique, guest-facing culinary role within a private chalet environment. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality meals tailored to guest preferences, while maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. Working alongside a professional hospitality team, you will contribute to a seamless and well-executed in-chalet dining experience that reflects the expectations of a premium holiday setting. What You’ll Be Doing Planning and preparing meals tailored to guest preferences and dietary requirements Delivering high-quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner experiences within a private chalet setting Presenting dishes with attention to detail, ensuring a polished and professional finish Managing kitchen organisation, cleanliness, and food safety standards Coordinating ingredient sourcing and maintaining appropriate stock levels Monitoring food quality and consistency across all meals Supporting the overall guest experience through thoughtful service and collaboration with the chalet team Assisting with broader operational tasks when required Who We’re Looking For A passionate and creative chef with a strong foundation in culinary techniques Experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants, hotels, or private dining Strong attention to detail with pride in presentation and consistency Able to work independently while remaining collaborative within a team environment Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting A professional, calm, and organised approach under pressure Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with international guests What We Can Offer You Competitive hourly rate Subsidized staff accommodation Staff benefits and local discounts A variety of shift patterns across the season Social events and team activities Opportunity for contract extension or return seasons Visa support available for suitable candidates Ready for the Season of a Lifetime?
