This role plays a critical part in advancing patient safety initiatives, improving clinical outcomes, and ensuring adherence to accreditation and regulatory standards. This is a weekday leadership position operating during standard business hours. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Quality Improvement, Risk Management, and Medical Staff Office functions Serve as the Patient Safety Officer and oversee compliance and ethics programs Ensure organization-wide adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to drive performance improvement initiatives Monitor and improve patient outcomes through data-driven strategies Oversee accreditation readiness and act as liaison with regulatory agencies (e.g., CMS, Joint Commission) Conduct investigations related to compliance concerns and ensure corrective actions Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and transparency across clinical teams Support implementation of organizational goals related to quality and patient experience Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) Minimum of 5 years of RN experience in an acute care setting Prior experience in quality, risk management, or patient safety Preferred Qualifications Leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting Experience with regulatory surveys and accreditation processes CPHRM and/or CPPS certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 years) Strong background in performance improvement and data analysis Key Skills Required Healthcare quality and regulatory compliance expertise Leadership and team management Data analysis and performance improvement Patient safety and risk mitigation strategies Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration Why This Location?
