Registered Nurse (RN) – Skilled Nursing Facility (New Mexico) About the Job Do you have a passion for making a difference in patient care? We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at skilled nursing facilities across New Mexico . This is a fantastic opportunity for hardworking, compassionate nurses who are ready to take the next step in their careers and provide exceptional care to residents. Key Responsibilities Carry out daily nursing functions in compliance with company policies and state, federal, and local regulations Admit, transfer, and discharge residents with proper documentation of care and services provided Support and orient new residents and their families to the facility Participate in facility surveys and inspections as scheduled Ensure delivery of high-quality care, positive clinical outcomes, and resident/family satisfaction Clinical Skills & Competencies Specialized Care: NG tube insertion, placement, irrigation; colostomy care; Foley catheter care; straight catheterization Tube Feeding: Setup and monitoring of feeding pumps, intake/output calculations, dietary compliance, weight monitoring, abdominal assessments Patient Care Techniques: Positioning, transfer assistance, range of motion (ROM) exercises Emergency Response: Oxygen administration, suctioning, CPR, glucometer checks IV Therapy: Site care, saline lock management, mixing/hanging/administering IV solutions, infusion pump operation Advanced Procedures: Suctioning (tracheotomy, nasotracheal), tracheotomy care, gastrostomy care, sterile techniques Lab & Infection Control: Specimen collection, isolation procedures, and infection prevention Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Mexico or compact state eligibility) Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills Compassionate and committed to delivering high-quality patient care Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required Current & valid US RN license in the state of the facility location BLS upon hire Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Able to handle pressure, multi-task, and prioritize Previous work experience, preferred Working knowledge of electronic health records, preferred Must be willing to work in New Mexico Support from experienced immigration lawyers and nurse mentors Competitive compensation package Employer pays for all immigration visa processing fees Medical insurance Paid time off Other paid benefits per facility
