Working closely with injured employees, managers, healthcare providers, and key stakeholders, you will coordinate effective recovery programs that enable safe, sustainable, and timely return-to-work outcomes About The Role As a Recovery at Work Coordinator, you will: Coordinate and manage Recovery at Work and rehabilitation programs for employees with work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses. Develop, implement, monitor, and review individual Recovery at Work plans, with a strong focus on achieving safe and durable return-to-work outcomes, including return to pre-injury duties where appropriate. Partner with iCare NSW scheme agents and other stakeholders to effectively manage Workers Compensation claims in accordance with legislative and policy requirements. Provide expert guidance, education, and practical support to managers and supervisors to promote proactive participation in recovery and rehabilitation processes. Build and maintain positive working relationships with injured workers, treating practitioners, rehabilitation providers, and internal stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication between all parties to support coordinated and person-centred recovery outcomes. Promote safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace behaviours aligned with NSW Health policies, procedures, and the Hunter New England Health Values Charter About You You are a confident and solutions-focused professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working with diverse stakeholders. You will have: You have NSW SIRA/Work Cover Rehabilitation Coordination Accreditation and relevant tertiary qualifications, or significant experience in occupational rehabilitation, injury management or related fields Strong knowledge of NSW Workers’ Compensation legislation and SIRA guidelines Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet strict legislative timeframes Confidence using Microsoft Office, claims management systems and databases The ability to adapt to changing priorities in a multidisciplinary environment Hold a current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel across HNELHD sites as required Benefits Sustainable Healthcare: Together towards zero ADO's each month (for full time employees) 4 weeks annual leave each year (pro-rata for part time employees) Superannuation contributions Salary packaging options Fitness Passport Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for staff and family members Need more information?
