Position Overview
We are seeking a Real Estate Contract & Settlement Coordinator to manage the transaction process from contract through settlement for domestic real estate transactions.
This position involves working closely with buyer's representatives, judicial scriveners, business partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth and accurate transaction execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesReal Estate Contract & Settlement Operations
- Manage the progress of real estate sales and purchase transactions
- Review and manage contracts and required documentation
- Coordinate schedules leading up to settlement
- Communicate and coordinate with buyer's representatives, AkiyaHub team, judicial scriveners, and business partners
- Support contract signing and settlement procedures
- Monitor transaction progress and follow up as required
Power of Attorney (POA) / Proxy Transactions
- Manage transactions involving Power of Attorney arrangements
- Review identity verification documents and required paperwork
- Coordinate with judicial scriveners and other professionals
- Support transactions with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy
Internal Operations
- Input and update transaction data within the CRM
- Prepare internal reports
- Support workflow and operational improvements
- Coordinate with internal departments
- Native-level Japanese
- Basic PC skills (Google Workspace / Microsoft Office / Zoom)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to travel domestically for business
Preferred
- Experience with real estate sales contracts and settlements
- Experience coordinating with judicial scriveners and financial institutions
- Experience supporting overseas clients
- Real estate industry experience
- Real Estate Transaction Specialist licence (宅地建物取引士)
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Comfortable handling detailed administrative work
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Looking to utilise real estate transaction experience
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
Region Details / Frequency
Kanto area: Day trips, depending on transaction requirements~10/month
Chubu / Tohoku : Several trips per quarter (shinkansen, occasional overnight)
Kyushu / remote areas As required — overnight trips (flight required) As required
Base salary ¥4,000,000 – ¥6,000,000 / year (determined by experience)
Transport & accommodationAll costs reimbursed at cost
Social insurance Full coverage (health, pension, employment, workers' comp)
Salary review At 12 months
Includes a fixed overtime allowance equivalent to 20 hours per month. Overtime exceeding 20 hours will be compensated additionally.

Leave & Holidays
