Role: Project Engineer Industry: Power Generation Location: Houston, TX (fully onsite) Salary: competitive + bonus + equity We are partnered with a rapidly scaling company who develop hybrid distributed solutions (gas turbines & BESS) to clients in the data center, energy, commercial and industrial sectors. They plan to add over 2.2GW of projects this year alone! *Only US Citizens or Greencard holders can be considered *Relocation assistance provided Responsibilities 🔨 Support the delivery of large-scale gas turbine power generation projects from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and operations handoff. Coordinate with EPCs, engineering firms, vendors, procurement teams, and contractors to ensure successful project execution. Review technical documentation including single-line diagrams, P&IDs, site layouts, and equipment specifications. Support the integration of gas turbines, balance of plant (BOP), electrical systems, controls, and supporting infrastructure. Provide technical support during construction, startup, commissioning, and operational turnover activities. Qualifications & Experience 📑 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar 8–15 years of experience delivering complex power generation projects Extensive hands-on experience delivering gas turbine projects is required. Strong understanding of gas turbine integration, balance of plant systems, electrical infrastructure, switchgear, controls, and supporting site systems. Experience managing projects across the full lifecycle, from engineering and design through construction, commissioning, and operations handoff. Strong electrical engineering foundation with the ability to understand mechanical, civil, and controls disciplines. Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects ($10M+ minimum, ideally significantly larger). Familiarity with single-line diagrams, P&IDs, general arrangements, gas infrastructure, and plant-wide system integration.
