Job Description: Your role, reporting to Principal Supply Chain Manager , will be to support a team of 3 buyers to contract manage , expedite deliveries, and ensure accurate reporting, of all procured pumps to support the build programme. Core duties: Lead , and support the development of, a team of 3 buyers responsible for procurement of Pumps to support the Dreadnought Programme Managing escalations from the team Attendance at supplier reviews, QBRs, and cross functional reviews Input to reporting e.g. Senior Management Reviews, Functional Review, Drive Pack Representing Pumps team at Pumps and Valves reviews Weekly monitoring of metrics, spend data and KPIs Essential Skills: Contract management experience (Negotiation / T&Cs / Milestone Payments) Supplier Relationships, excellent communication Teamcenter / SAP experience Process knowledge & experience of end to end contracting Demonstrable experience of using initiative, problem resolution and being proactive The Pumps and Valves team: This role sits in the wider Pumps and Valves team who support Valve requirements across Astute and Dreadnought along with Dreadnought Pumps. You will be part of an inclusive team who work together across the areas to support each other and ensure targets are met. This role has opportunity to develop in leadership responsibilities and will include attendance at associated reviews representing a Supply Chain team across the function and programmes at all levels.
