We are looking for two warm, enthusiastic, and professional Clinical or Counselling Psychologists to join our team and help support the psychological care provided by our Community Mental Health Service for Adults.
Below Are The Two Vacancies
You will formulate evidenced based psychological treatment plans that are specific to each client, drawing on appropriate conceptual and theoretical models monitoring outcome and modifying and adapting interventions as required.
You’ll be part of a welcoming, multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, mental health nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, CBT, DBT and EMDR therapists, and support workers. Access to the Learning, Education and Development training facility, which is exclusively for Public Service employees, to keep on top of your continuous professional development.
Free access to the Isle of Man Government Staff Welfare Service which offers professional counselling, emotional support and signposting on a wide range of issues.
Accommodation may be available for the first 6 months in your role at a reduced rate for non-Island residents, subject to availability.
A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
