In addition to contributing to impactful research outcomes, you will play an active role in service and engagement activities. Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Research: Develop and enhance the EasiGP software pipeline and undertake collaborative research to advance ensemble-based genomic prediction methodologies, including analysis of large-scale Arabidopsis datasets and training researchers in software application. Contribute to high-quality research outcomes through publications, competitive funding applications, collaborative projects, research translation and the development of an emerging research profile in predictive breeding technologies. Supervision and Researcher Development: Contribute to the supervision, mentoring and development of Honours and Higher Degree by Research students, fostering researcher capability and professional growth. Effectively support and manage supervisee and research staff performance, including coaching, feedback and resolution of workplace issues in line with University policies and procedures. Citizenship and Service: Demonstrate collaborative leadership and strong citizenship aligned with UQ values through active participation in service, committee, operational and partnership activities across the University and broader community. An emerging profile in research in the discipline area. Evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences. Evidence of contributions towards successfully obtaining external research funding.
