About this role
A three-year Postdoctoral Research Associate position is immediately available to work on a study to characterise tumour and brain injury in children with ependymoma and identify biomarkers of late neurocognitive problems. The study, funded by a grant from Children with Cancer, working on MRI data acquired as part of the UK cohort of the European Society of Paediatric Neurooncology (SIOPE) Ependymoma II
This will involve tumour segmentation, radiomic analysis and lesion symptom mapping.
The candidate will also support the integrated analysis of imaging findings with neurocognitive and clinical outcomes using machine-learning methodologies.
Qualitative analysis of MRI scans
Develop and conduct novel MRI analyses of brain tumours
Quantitative analyses of brain injury in the early postoperative period using machine learning methods.
