Job Description About the School / Company Nanjing Foreign Language School Affiliated Kindergarten is a large-scale private kindergarten established in February 2008, operated by Nanjing Foreign Language School and managed by Gulou Kindergarten. Located in Fangshan, the campus spans nearly 12,000 square meters with 21 classes from nursery to senior levels, serving approximately 620 children and employing nearly 100 staff members. The facility includes over 10 specialized children’s workshops and a parent-child activity center, reflecting a high-standard, modernized design. The educational philosophy integrates a global vision with hands-on exploration to cultivate modern global citizens. Curriculum Overview The kindergarten curriculum is built on Singapore’s Twinklekidz Thematic Program with 11 thematic units using picture books as a foundational resource. • Targets six key developmental domains: aesthetic and creative expression, exploration of the environment, language and literacy, motor skill development, early mathematics, and social-emotional growth • Uses project-based learning guiding children through observation, inquiry, exploration, practice, and presentation • Incorporates immersive English instruction led by bilingual and foreign teachers • Includes specialized courses in science, drama, baking, swimming, piano, art, and junior host training • Blends multicultural themes with local Nantong resources and cultural heritage This balanced approach promotes holistic development while nurturing specialized talents in young learners. Position Overview The Homeroom Teacher will lead a class of young learners, delivering daily instruction across multiple developmental domains while fostering a warm and engaging classroom environment. This role works closely with bilingual teaching assistants and specialized course instructors to implement the Twinklekidz thematic curriculum. Working Hours • Monday to Friday • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM • 2.5-hour noon break (approximately 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM) Class Structure • 21 classes total, approximately 30 students per class • Ages: nursery to senior levels (approximately 2 to 6 years old) • Teaching team per class: o Homeroom Teacher o Bilingual Teaching Assistant o Specialized Course Instructors Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver daily lessons following the Twinklekidz thematic and project-based curriculum • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports social-emotional and cognitive development • Assess and document student progress across six developmental domains, providing regular feedback to parents and leadership • Collaborate with bilingual assistants and specialized instructors to integrate English immersion and workshop activities • Participate in school events, themed festivals, professional development sessions, and collaborative planning meetings Requirements Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field • TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (120 hours minimum) • Native or near-native English proficiency • Minimum 2 years teaching experience with young learners (ages 2-6) preferred • Clean criminal record and ability to obtain a valid work visa for China Benefits Salary & Benefits • Salary: 15,000 – 18,000 RMB per month based on qualifications and experience • Monthly housing allowance to offset accommodation costs • Annual flight reimbursement • Full coverage for work visa application and renewal fees • Comprehensive commercial health and accident insurance • Airport pickup and onboarding assistance for housing, banking, and local registration • Paid leave on Chinese and international holidays with winter and summer vacations totaling nearly 3 months • Collaborative multicultural faculty with shared planning sessions and professional development workshops Attachments Nanjing kindergarten - Fangs...pdf View Download
