Position Highlights: Work with an established team of 4 pulmonologists and 2 APPs Open to new graduates Cystic Fibrosis Center - Accredited by the CF foundation and encompasses full care team. The CF center is also a part of the Therapeutic Development Network-national multi-center research program for cystic fibrosis. Asthma Program - Joint Commission certified for both inpatient and outpatient Resident and Medical Student Education - We are the only Pediatric Pulmonary Group for resident and medical student education and rotations since the affiliation with UTMC. Competitive compensation with Quality Performance Financial incentives CME Allowance Relocation assistance up to $15K Sign on Bonus Eligible Community awareness and education Clinical Services: Outpatient pediatric pulmonary clinic-scope of practice includes comprehensive asthma care including advanced biologic therapies, exercise induced asthma, chronic lung disease of prematurity, apnea of prematurity, interstitial lung disease, chronic respiratory failure and chronic ventilator management, evaluation of airway abnormalities, airway malacia, evaluation of chronic cough, complicated pneumonia follow up, cystic fibrosis, and newborn screening for cystic fibrosis Outpatient Pediatric Sleep Medicine Clinic- New state-of-the-art four-bed pediatric sleep lab currently under construction Inpatient pediatric pulmonary service, including full pediatric pulmonary consultative services, and on call coverage JOB REQUIREMENTS Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution. Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Ohio. Board certified or board eligible in pediatric pulmonology specialty. Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.). Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
