About the Role Service Stream’s Power division is currently seeking applications from trade qualified Distribution Lineworkers in joining our team in Wetherill Park (Sydney) Working within the NSW Power business you will be reporting into the Works Manager covering maintenance and construction works on the Ausgrid network Scope of works will include Timber and steel pole replacements , defect rectification , crossarm changes , emergency response , service wire replacement and LED streetlighting programs To be successful in this role you will hold a trade qualified Distribution Lineworker, holding a Certificate III in Distribution (Powerline) or equivalent. Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time Location: Wetherill Park, NSW Reporting Line: Works Manager Key Responsibilities As a Distribution Lineworker you will be joining an excellent team that is responsible for constructing and maintaining Ausgrid’s distribution electricity network to maintain the integrity of the network in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner to ensure an uninterrupted supply to customers across the network. Award and compensation Service Stream offer appealing EBA rates and conditions which include a nine day fortnight with RDO, 15% super, various allowances and substantial overtime work. Service Stream are willing to pay relocation costs for the right candidate and encourage Lineworkers from interstate and New Zealand to apply. About You To be considered for the role you must demonstrate previous experience working as a Lineworker, along with relevant training and HV licences. You will be trade qualified Lineworker. Day to day, you will be involved in the installation and maintenance of overhead powerlines carrying electricity to domestic, commercial and industrial users. You will also demonstrate and possess the following: Strong understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety practices. Ability to meet individual project productivity & target costs. Hold a current licence to perform High Risk Work, Construction White / Blue Card. Share our commitment to the highest quality of workmanship. Desirable – Forklift licence, Chainsaw Ticket, Dogging ticket/s.
