In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment by monitoring, analyzing, and improving workplace safety standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee ongoing compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, policies, and best practices across the organization. Identify workplace hazards and provide recommendations for their elimination or mitigation. Prepare regular reports and analyses on OHS performance, including actionable improvement plans. Contribute to modernization and organizational changes by advising on OHS-related aspects. Participate in post-incident investigations to determine causes of workplace accidents and occupational illnesses. Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive safety measures. Provide expert guidance on OHS regulations and their practical application. Support the development and maintenance of internal OHS policies, procedures, and work instructions. Review and issue opinions on workplace-specific safety instructions. Take part in occupational risk assessments and ensure identified risks are properly managed. Collaborate with internal teams to organize and deliver OHS training, including onboarding of new employees. Work closely with occupational health physicians and external laboratories conducting workplace testing and measurements. Requirements Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar OHS role. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Certification in OHS (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent) is an asset.
