Overview The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for completing a comprehensive medical history and physical assessment in accordance with applicable state health and safety laws and standards of practice. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing/related fieldMaster of Science in Nursing/PA Studies Prior experience is preferred but not requiredCurrent unrestricted license with Arizona State Board of Nursing/Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants Board Certification as FNP/PA-CBasic Life Support CertificationEffective interpersonal and communication skillsTimely, appropriate and concise communication that facilitates continuity of careAccurate, complete and legible documentationKnowledge of basic and specialty-specific medicineKnowledge and understanding of obtaining a thorough medical historyKnowledge and understanding of physical examination requirements for surgical patientsKnowledge and understanding of patient rightsFunction calmly and efficiently in stressful situationsAbility to work independently as well as function as an integral member of the clinical team Benefits & Perks ABOUT THE BENEFITS: Immediate high volumes with competitive productivity incentives.
