About this role

Job Description Neurologist | Partnership Track in Year 2 Location: Memphis, TN Job Type: Full-time Salary: $370,000 – $450,000 plus bonus Quick Facts Specialty: General Neurology (subspecialty training welcome, not required) Setting: Outpatient clinic + inpatient hospital — do both, or choose one Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; half-day clinic / half-day hospital rotation Call: Almost entirely by phone — no ICU, no emergency coverage; one weekend per month Patient volume: ~20 patients/day combined across settings EMR: Epic Start: Flexible — this year or next Compensation: $370K–$450K year-one guarantee; full practice membership in year two with earning potential of $400K–$700K The Opportunity A well-established, physician-owned neurology group is adding one to two neurologists to keep pace with patient demand. You'd join 6 providers, splitting time between a busy outpatient clinic and inpatient rounds at two of the city's leading hospital systems, or focusing on the setting you prefer. The standout here is the timeline to ownership: this begins in year two — not a five-year carrot. Year one is protected by a $370K–$450K guarantee plus an end-of-year bonus, so the runway is secure while you build your panel. Call is about as livable as neurology call gets: roughly one weekend per month, handled almost entirely by phone, with no ICU or emergency department coverage. In-person callbacks are rare. Why Memphis Memphis offers a major-metro medical community with a cost of living well below the national average — and Tennessee has no state income tax , which meaningfully boosts take-home on a $400K+ income. You'll find a deep music and food culture, professional sports, and short flights to most of the country from a hub airport. What We're Looking For MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Tennessee license or willingness to obtain (credentialing runs 2–3 months — start dates planned accordingly) New graduates welcome — strong mentorship from three experienced neurologists Visa sponsorship available , with top-tier immigration counsel engaged by the practice Any experience level considered Compensation & Benefits $370,000–$450,000 first-year salary guarantee + end-of-year bonus Practice membership beginning year two (2% overhead fee; $400K–$700K earning potential) Health insurance, 80% employer-covered 401(k) with 4% match 3 weeks PTO + 1 week CME Malpractice insurance fully covered Relocation assistance up to $10,000 Apply today — we’re interviewing this week.
