CORONADO GLOBAL RESOURCES is a leading international producer of high-quality Metallurgical Coal. Our global operations are located in two of the world’s largest and most productive metallurgical coal basins, the Bowen Basin in Queensland and the Central Appalachian region of the US. We are seeking an experienced Mining Coordinator (Draglines) to join our team at the Curragh North Complex. This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating dragline activities, supporting production outcomes, and ensuring safe, compliant and efficient execution across the operation. About the Role Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, this role works closely with Supervisors, Technical Services, Maintenance and Operations teams to coordinate dragline activities across site. Working an 8/6 roster, you will play a critical role in ensuring dragline plans are practical, achievable and aligned to operational priorities. Your role will be interesting and varied and will include: Coordinating dragline schedules, relocations and cable moves in line with mine plans and production priorities Supporting Supervisors and crews to deliver safe and productive dragline operations Working closely with Planning and Technical Services teams to ensure bench readiness and alignment to design Monitoring compliance to mine plans, dig sequences and geotechnical requirements Reviewing production and downtime data to identify trends and drive operational improvements Supporting hazard management, inspections, audits and incident investigations Partnering with Maintenance, Engineering and Production teams to resolve operational constraints quickly Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve dragline utilisation and operational efficiency Providing leadership support and backfill supervision where required to maintain operational continuity About You You are a highly experienced mining professional with strong dragline operational knowledge and the ability to work closely with operational teams to drive performance outcomes. You are proactive, safety-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. You will also bring: Open cut mining experience with strong exposure to dragline operations Strong understanding of dragline methodologies, dig sequences and production optimisation Demonstrated experience coordinating operational mining activities within a large-scale mining environment Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to influence across operational and technical teams Dozer and dig unit operational competencies advantageous Why Join Us?
