We are looking for people who thrive in high-risk operational environments, bring strong practical emergency response capability, and want to contribute to building a professional long-term emergency response function within the operation. Core Lithium’s long-term workforce strategy is focused on building a stable residential workforce based in Darwin and the surrounding region. Relocation support is available for interstate candidates interested in permanently relocating to Darwin. For the right candidate, short-term FIFO arrangements may be considered initially to support transition and relocation, however the long-term expectation is residential relocation within the first few months of employment. These are permanent positions working a 7 days on, 7 days off roster consisting of 12-hour shifts, currently focused on day shift operations, however as underground production ramps up in the future, the roles may transition into a rotating day/night roster arrangement. About the Opportunity These are hands-on operational leadership roles focused on developing emergency response readiness across a growing underground mining operation. While medical response remains an important component of the position, the primary focus is building and maintaining a capable, well-trained and operationally ready Emergency Response Team (ERT) and ensuring the site has the systems, equipment, training and rescue capability required to safely support underground mining activities. Working closely with site leadership, you will help shape emergency response standards, training programs, rescue systems and operational readiness as the underground operation continues to develop. You are practical, disciplined and confident operating in high-risk environments. You understand what good underground emergency response looks like and can step into incidents calmly and professionally when required. You are equally comfortable contributing to emergency readiness behind the scenes — maintaining equipment, supporting training activities and helping improve site capability before incidents occur.
