Seeking Mechanical Engineers, from around the world, with experience leading complex, high impact mechanical projects, to work for our client, a leading New Zealand Civil Engineering Company. Roles are based Tauranga.

▶ What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible to lead the mechanical scope across multiple projects and co-ordinate as required with civil and electrical teams.
• Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of mechanical equipment & systems, including pumps, pipework, valves, rotating equipment, and process plant.
• Responsible for the coordination of multiple projects to meet scope, schedule, budget and quality; and maintaining accurate Cost to Complete (CTC), forecasting, procurement planning, and value for money evaluations.
• Ensuring all work is planned and executed according to legislation and project requirements.
• Responsible for mechanical completion, testing, and commissioning.
▶ What we’re looking for
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a tertiary institution that is accredited under the Washington Accord.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the delivery of mechanical scope of work in projects such as water wastewater, industrial, oil & gas, or process infrastructure
• Experience in forecasting, cost tracking, variations and claims.
• Working Knowledge with project software (MS Project and CCS Candy)
• Solid experience in Quality Assurance, Testing, Commissioning and Construction completion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with New Zealand construction standards and regulations is an advantage
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken ability).
