As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by identifying and recruiting top-notch medical professionals in the oncology field. This role offers the chance to work closely with healthcare facilities, understanding their specific needs and helping them build high-performing teams that deliver outstanding patient care. Responsibilities Identify and recruit qualified candidates for medical oncology positions Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit Collaborate with healthcare clients to understand their staffing needs Develop and maintain relationships with medical professionals and institutions Participate in career fairs and networking events to promote open positions Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in oncology Assist in the development of recruitment strategies and initiatives Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Entry-level experience in medical oncology or related field Strong understanding of oncology practices and protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools Passion for helping others and improving healthcare staffing solutions Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p Call Requirement: 8-10 weeks per year by phone Setting: 80% outpatient, 20% inpatient State-of-the-art equipment, including a linear accelerator Infusion center with 9 chairs and 2 beds Cases: 50% breast cancer, but will see everything Support Staff: 3 oncology nurse navigators, 2 clinical nurses, 2 MAs, and 1 NP in the infusion center Breast, lung, GYN, GI, hematology, neck/prostate/lymphoma multidisciplinary teams Can join breast, lung, or general tumor boards Must be board-certified Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary + RVUs Full benefits Relocation assistance Medical malpractice insurance with tail Paid CMEs
