HHM Talent is assisting an automotive client search for a Marketing Director. Position Overview A newly established and fast-growing automotive group based in Albany, GA is seeking a dynamic Marketing Director to lead marketing strategy, vendor partnerships, digital initiatives, and creative execution across the organization. This is a high-visibility leadership role reporting directly to the Owner and working closely with the Variable Operations Director to support continued growth across the group. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive marketing experience, a creative mindset, and the ability to stay ahead of marketing trends, especially AI, digital advertising, social media, and technology-driven customer engagement. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with most work performed remotely and occasional in-office presence as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead marketing strategy and execution across all five rooftops Serve as the main point of contact between the automotive group and outside marketing agencies, vendors, and technology partners Work closely with the Variable Operations Director to align marketing initiatives with sales goals, lead generation, inventory movement, and overall dealership performance Oversee digital marketing efforts, including paid advertising, website performance, social media, lead generation, SEO, email campaigns, and customer engagement strategies Manage and evaluate vendor relationships to ensure strong ROI, clear reporting, and alignment with business goals Lead creative direction for marketing campaigns, promotions, branding, and dealership-level initiatives Identify and implement new marketing trends, tools, and technologies, including AI-driven solutions Support the implementation of AI tools to improve marketing efficiency, customer engagement, lead management, and campaign performance Monitor advertising performance, lead quality, conversion trends, and overall marketing effectiveness Manage and support a marketing team of approximately 10 team members Bring creative, forward-thinking ideas to help the organization continue scaling Qualifications Experience working with automotive dealerships, groups, or OEM-related marketing is required Strong background in digital marketing, vendor management, advertising strategy, social media, and lead generation Must be highly creative and able to bring fresh, strategic marketing ideas to the organization Experience using or implementing AI tools within marketing, advertising, customer engagement, or process improvement.
