Manufacturing Staff – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Yamagata, Japan

Planet Pharma is currently supporting a major expansion project within a global pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and am looking to connect with experienced manufacturing professionals for an exciting opportunity based in Yamagata, Japan.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in solid dosage manufacturing who enjoy both hands-on production work and leadership responsibilities within a GMP-regulated environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and support pharmaceutical manufacturing processes including weighing, granulation, blending, tableting, and capsule filling

• Mentor and train junior team members

• Support SOP creation/revisions and deviation/CAPA activities

• Drive process improvement initiatives and operational excellence

• Participate in both local and global projects

• Coordinate cross-functional activities and support project management efforts

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

• Experience operating solid dosage manufacturing equipment

• Strong understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations

• Leadership mindset with the ability to support and guide others

• Japanese language capability highly preferred (flexibility for the right candidate)

• Business-level English preferred

📍 Location: Yamagata, Japan (On-site)

⚠️ Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Yamagata. Visa sponsorship can be supported for suitable candidates.
