We are looking for a Manufacturing IT Developer III to take full ownership of our internal systems. In this role, you won't just be writing code; you will be the bridge between our production machinery and our data systems. From conception to post-implementation support, you will lead projects that directly impact our mechanical and manufacturing efficiency. Key Responsibilities System Development: Design and maintain applications using the .NET framework, with a heavy emphasis on VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET . Data Integration: Lead PLC data acquisition efforts to ensure seamless communication between shop floor hardware and enterprise software. Database Programming: Utilize advanced T-SQL to manage complex data sets and manufacturing metrics. Project Ownership: Take the lead on new initiatives, managing the entire lifecycle from initial requirements gathering through to deployment and troubleshooting. Collaboration: Work closely with the manufacturing and mechanical teams to identify bottlenecks and develop custom software solutions. Required Qualifications (Must-Haves) Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment . Technical Mastery: * Extensive experience with Wonderware software tools. Proven proficiency in PLC data acquisition . Strong .NET programming skills (VB.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET). Advanced T-SQL programming capabilities. Attributes: A "can-do" attitude and the self-motivation to manage projects independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves) Experience with Kepware or other PLC communication vehicles. Familiarity with Classic ASP .
