Reporting to the Director of Wellness (Director), the Manager Wellness (Manager) ensures the Government of Nunavut’s (GN) wellness operational plan is executed based upon Inuit Societal Values. The Manager is responsible for the GN workplace wellness programs, services, and compliance in accordance with a wide variety of acts and legislation, the Canada Labour Code, collective agreements, labour arbitration cases and other relevant precedents. The Manager is the lead for employee wellness matters for all GN departments, boards and agencies; a workforce of approximately 5,000 employees located in 25 Nunavut communities plus several out-of-territory locations.
