About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Manager, Scrum & Project Management to lead a team of Agile Scrum Masters and Project Managers within a technology-driven organization. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will both manage people and actively contribute as a Scrum Master or Project Manager on key initiatives.
In this role, you will manage a team of scrum masters and PM’s to drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile and Project Management best practices, ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software solutions, and foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Scrum Masters and Project Managers
- Serve as a Scrum Master or Project Manager for at least one team or major initiative
- Ensure teams consistently meet delivery commitments while improving sprint-over-sprint performance
- Remove delivery impediments and provide transparency into team status, velocity, and predictability
- Champion and implement best practices in Agile Scrum and Project Management
- Act as an Agile coach and mentor to team members, leaders, and stakeholders
- Ensure Project Managers effectively drive critical initiatives to successful outcomes
- Standardize planning, tracking, and reporting practices for leadership and stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement
- Ensure consistent application of Scrum frameworks while allowing team autonomy
- Support change management efforts and stakeholder adoption
- Adapt to shifting priorities and organizational needs
- Deliver high-quality results on time with minimal oversight
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
- 4+ years of project management experience in technology or software delivery
- 4+ years of Scrum Master experience in technology or software environments
- 3+ years of experience managing direct reports
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
- Advanced understanding of the software development life cycle
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint (4+ years)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
- Ability to lead geographically distributed teams
Required Certifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Preferred Certifications
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, II, or III)
- Certified Team Coach (CTC – Scrum Alliance)

Compensation
- California: $150,000 – $160,000 base + 20% bonus
- Tennessee: $130,000 – $145,000 base + 20% bonus
- Relocation assistance: $3,500 plus covered professional moving costs
- Visa sponsorship: Open to H-1B transfer
