Identify and participate in the establishment of Nursing and ancillary staff development programs to support the necessary skills needed to provide outstanding care to the patient population of CHI Memorial. Participate in the establishment and annual assurance of competencies for all patient care staff and monitor on an ongoing basis. Establish and maintain high levels of physician satisfaction for all services provided. Participate in the development and implementation of plans for nurse recruitment and retention. Work collaboratively with all departments to achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction. Meet the compliance standards of various regulatory bodies which affect the provision of services, to include the Joint Commission, life safety, state, federal and other regulatory bodies. Job Requirements Requirements: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state BSN required from an accredited nursing program within 9 months of hire Minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience Two years in charge or leadership position within last five years in a hospital setting. Five years recent nursing experience Basic Life Support (BLS) required ACLS required within 6 months Specialty certification required within 6 months Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas
