Job title: Maintenance/ Mechanical Technician We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance / Mechanical Technician to join their team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on a variety of equipment and machinery, ensuring their proper functioning and minimising downtime. Ideal Candidate Ability to work with a team and/or independently with less supervision. Good communication skills. With a good English test score is an advantage (minimum PTE score 36 or IELTS 5.0). Work experience in petrol and diesel is a good advantage. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance and repair work on equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and making necessary repairs. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects. Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance work. Communicate with clients to understand their maintenance needs and provide solutions accordingly. Stay updated with industry developments and advancements to improve maintenance processes and techniques. Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed Maintain a clean, organised kitchen, adhering to WHS and food safety standards. Qualifications Must have Trades Qualification. At least 3 years recent and relevant experience on heavy machinery, farm machinery, feed mill operation, farm maintenance, or diesel mechanic.
