JOB SPECIFICATION Position Title: Lead Khmer Language Teacher Start Date ASAP About the Company: Our vision is to become a leading international school in Cambodia empowering individual learners with global competencies and Cambodian values, in order to succeed and positively impact their local and global community Address: #254AK, St.598, Sangkat Toul Sangke, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh, Cambodia Key Responsibilities: Teach Khmer subjects and manage a team of Khmer teachers to ensure overall teaching quality Prepare, develop and update the Khmer curriculum in line with school policies Provide guidance and support to Khmer teachers in lesson planning, teaching practice and classroom management Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to improve learning outcomes Coordinate teaching schedules, meetings, and other collaborative work of the Khmer language team Communicate with guardians to provide information on student learning as needed Participate in school events and other work related to the Khmer language department Perform other teaching-related tasks and responsibilities as needed and requested Experience / Knowledge Required: Bachelor's degree in Khmer literature, education or teaching degree At least 3 years of experience teaching Khmer at the primary level Able to understand English Have good communication skills and can communicate well with children Be punctual, patient and responsible Proficient in Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Classroom Telegram, Email Salary: Salary based on experience and educational qualifications Benefits: Competitive monthly salary depending on their qualifications Annual salary increments from 10% to 30% depending on performance and professional growth Paid Annual Leave of 18 days per year on top of the public holiday and Paid Sick Leave of 6 days per year Special leave, maternity leave, and other leaves permitted in accordance with the Cambodian Labor Law 10 days extra leave per year during school break Private Health Insurance for International Staff and Social Benefits provided by National Social Security Funds for Local Staff Free lunch during working days Annual trip during the school summer break Oversea and traveling abroad mission such as USA, England, Australia, Korea and Singapore.
