Job Description We are seeking experienced sous chefs in the UAE who are looking to expand their careers and experience in the European country of Malta. As a crucial member of the kitchen leadership team, the Sous Chef plays a pivotal role in providing vital support to the Executive Chef and overseeing diverse facets of kitchen operations. This position demands culinary proficiency, effective leadership capabilities, and the skill to ensure the seamless execution of dishes while upholding elevated standards of food quality. Position: Sous Chef Location: Malta (Europe) All Nationalities are welcome to apply. Note: Only applicants with Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef experience will be selected for this role. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution. Supervise and lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. Assist in inventory management, ordering, and cost control. Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Contribute creative ideas to the culinary offerings. Requirements 4 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role. Culinary degree or relevant certification. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to communicate in English Language is a must. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment Knowledge of local and international culinary trends. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
