About this role

Outline of the Job We are seeking an engineer to lead the design, development, and evaluation of inverters, a core component of the electric propulsion system for next-generation eVTOL. This role offers significant autonomy and opportunities to collaborate with suppliers and address project challenges proactively. Key Responsibilities Design and development of motor control systems, inverter circuits, and motor control circuit systems Define and optimize design specifications to meet system requirements Serve as the technical interface with suppliers and manage their progress Support suppliers in resolving technical challenges Collaborate across teams to address cross-functional issues Develop test plans for ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) systems Analyze test results and propose and implement improvements Work closely with team leaders, members, and other departments to drive project progress Job Highlight Play a central role in the development of next-generation aviation technology Work in a global environment with opportunities to collaborate with a multinational team Experience the forefront of technological innovation, shaping the future of the industry Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing ESCs or inverters in the aerospace industry. Proficiency in English sufficient for professional communication. Desirable Skills Familiarity with aviation standards such as RTCA DO-254 and DO-160 Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or electromagnetic analysis tools Previous involvement in electric aircraft or eVTOL projects Comprehensive knowledge of power electronics Broad experience in motor control systems, inverter circuit design, and motor control circuit design Experience in supplier management or coordination Development experience within a global team Skills for Collaborative Success Someone who can flexibly incorporate others’ opinions and ideas while striving to achieve objectives. A proactive thinker capable of advancing tasks with confirmation and guidance from their supervisor. An individual with experience negotiating and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
