Analyze data from multiple source systems to understand business requirements, data structures, and integration needs. Design and document data models to support migration, ingestion, and transformation of data into Databricks. Perform source-to-target mapping, data profiling, and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of migrated data. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to translate functional requirements into scalable data models. Mandatory skill set s: Proven ability to analyze data from multiple source systems to understand business requirements, data structures, and integration needs. Hands-on experience designing and documenting data models to support migration, ingestion, and transformation of data into Databricks. Strong expertise in source-to-target mapping, data profiling, and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of migrated data. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to translate functional requirements into scalable data models. Preferred skill sets : Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and Medallion architecture for scalable data ingestion and transformation. Familiarity with data profiling and quality tools such as Great Expectations, Informatica DQ, or Collibra for source-to-target validation.
