Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources (Manager), the Human Resources Coordinator (Coordinator) assists the Manager on all Human Resources (HR) activities within the Department of Finance. This position provides ongoing advice and support to all departmental staff and central agencies in administrating staff recruitment, staff training and development, employee relations and disciplinary matters, HR reporting and on-going performance management initiatives. The incumbent plays an integral part in the implementation and monitoring of the departmental Inuit Employment Plan. Working with the Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit Coordinator, the Coordinator will develop, implement, monitor and evaluate comprehensive training, HR planning and leadership programs as well as provide technical guidance and policy advice to all divisions of the department in the areas of human resources development and staff training.
