About this role

IDS Borjomi Georgia is looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to join our team as Head of Trade Marketing. In this role, you will take ownership of our commercial strategy across a major international footprint, directly driving brand visibility and volume growth in key global markets.


Role Overview:

This role is responsible for creating, developing, and implementing the overall Trade Marketing Strategy and integrated plans for the iconic Borjomi brand and local portfolios. The role holds strategic and functional oversight over all export markets, spanning approximately 40 countries globally (including rapid expansion into new markets). You will lead the translation of brand visions into powerful channel and customer activity plans, budget management, drive digital transformation in trade marketing, and functionally develop cluster teams to maximize commercial efficiency.


Job Location: Ukraine or Georgia (We are prepared to offer a relocation package to the successful candidate).


Job Responsibilities:

  • Leadership in creating, developing, and implementing a Trade Marketing Strategy and integrated TM plan for Borjomi brand and local brands across all sales channels at the Group level (incl. New markets).
  • Managing the implementation of Trade Marketing Strategy by markets.
  • Creating and implementing Guidelines for TM & Gross Discount budgeting for BP, 3/7/10-years strategic planning.
  • Participating in Market Strategic planning process (TM part).
  • Planning and managing TM & Gross Discount (TM part) budget at the Group level and managing TM & Gross Discount budget in all markets (including P&L analysis).
  • Cooperating closely with Sales and Marketing departments for effective translation of brand plans into channel and customer activity plans.
  • Participation in cross-functional project teams.
  • Leadership of TM part in NPD business cases: creating TM Deck for new launches, presenting it to markets and collecting & validating TM & Discount budget for NPD Business Cases.
  • Leadership in the development of the Selling Story (TM part), In-Store Guidelines and NPD KPIs scorecard for new launches of Borjomi.
  • Development, implementation and updating of the Group Strategies and Standards: Promo Strategy and Promo Guidelines, Channel Strategies and Standards, etc.
  • Regular monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of all trade marketing activations, implementation of TM strategy, Promo Strategy and In-store Guidelines for new launches.
  • Functional leadership and development of GE Cluster TM teams.
  • Identifying new opportunities for brand development based on consumer, shopper, and market insights.
  • Monitoring innovative solutions and searching for new ideas in the field of Shopper behavior, promotional mechanics and tools, methods of increasing TMA efficiency, digitalization of TM processes, development trends of retailers and their approaches to working with shoppers.
  • Proposal of tools, processes and ideas for team development, digitization and improvement of TM efficiency at the level of the Group and local markets.
  • Carrying out regular visits to the Group's markets: exchange of experience, conducting/participating in meetings of TM, Marketing and Sales teams, and control of distribution and TMA.


Job Requirements:

  • Proven Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5-6+ years of progressive experience in Trade Marketing, Commercial, or Category Management roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or regional/group capacity.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong background in the FMCG sector is required; experience within the Beverages or Food categories is highly advantageous.
  • International Scope: Demonstrated experience managing multiple geographic markets, distributor networks, or complex export regions (experience managing diverse global regions is a plus).
  • Financial Acumen: Advanced proficiency in P&L analysis, commercial budgeting, and strategic planning forecasting.
  • Tools & Tech: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with trade marketing digitalization or automated reporting tools is preferred.
  • Education: University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Languages: Advanced proficiency in English is required. Fluency in Russian is highly beneficial for region coordination.
