People & Culture Business Analyst Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity This role places you at the forefront of the next phase in our People & Culture (P&C) Operations journey, building on the successful implementation of Workday across Beca. You will help drive frontline operational insight and continuous service improvement of our HR systems and functions, translating queries into process and system fixes to evolve and deliver value to the business. As a key link between P&C, and wider business stakeholders, you’ll work within a cross‑functional environment to deeply understand business needs and translate them into clear system and process solutions. With a strong analytical approach, you’ll dig into the ‘so what’ behind requirements, ensuring we design enhancements that align with best practice and effectively support how our people work. You’ll play an important role in capturing decisions, documenting end‑to‑end HR processes, and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure changes are well‑designed and well‑governed. A core part of the role is driving the successful delivery of process simplification, knowledge management and service improvement. You’ll lead requirements discovery and analysis, translate stakeholders’ needs into clear, testable specifications, and support change adoption. Where needed, you’ll also prepare concise training guidance to help users confidently adopt improvements. This is a 12-month fixed-term role.
