About the Role Mandrel is hiring a Solutions Consultant based in New York to play an integral role in our pre-sales process helping craft solutions and be a thought partner to both our Go-to-Market organization and our clients. This is a perfect role for someone who is looking to join an exceptional team at the earliest stages and have a massive hand in our growth acceleration. What You’ll Do Partner closely with finance, accounting, and operations leaders to demonstrate the capabilities of the Mandrel ERP platform, focusing on solving business problems and articulating end-to-end workflows Manage pre-sales projects, ensuring the feasibility of proposed solutions and conducting proof-of-concept development in close collaboration with the delivery team at Mandrel to ensure tight alignment with product capabilities Support the Go-to-Market team by offering a consultative and solutions-oriented approach in meetings with prospects, and translating those solutions into workflow maps, implementation proposals and other materials and assets Provide guidance on integrating Mandrel into clients' broader tech stack, which often involves navigating complex systems like WMS, CRM, and BI tools Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring a consultative approach to technical and business problem-solving Who You Are Customer EQ – Genuinely interested in learning about prospects, their businesses, and their challenges. Ability to connect with users/buyers and take a consultative approach to solving customers’ needs. Curious & Intelligent – Ability to turn curiosity into knowledge; to synthesize and distill lots of disparate information; to master a new and complex subject or product. Autonomy – Can successfully operate autonomously, and is experienced with capturing and communicating representative metrics and results. Commercial Savvy – Strong understanding of commercial dynamics and stakeholder management. Exceptional Communicator – Excellent presentation skills, evidenced by an ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences both verbally and visually. Requirements 4+ years of overall experience, ideally in both a tech-focused company as well as a more corporate environment 2+ year in Solutions Consulting or similar roles (e.g. Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management) in ERP SaaS or Fintech Familiarity with how systems like ERPs or CRMs integrate in a complex technology stack and be able to drive technical consultative partnership with CFOs and Controllers Bonus points for experience in accounting, either as a CPA or prior experience working directly with accountants/controllers Bonus points for experience with specific ERPs and IMS systems such as Netsuite, Fulfil.io , Cin7, Brightpearl, Doss, Luminous, Oodoo, & Goodday Why Join Us Impact – Drive incredible impact as the first full-time dedicated Solutions Consultant.
