About the Role You'll lead a crew of movers delivering exceptional relocation experiences for our customers. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll drive, lift, coach, and problem-solve every day while holding your team to the highest standards of quality and professionalism. Responsibilities Operational Excellence Map and document customer storage using Jobber; oversee incoming and outgoing storage Ensure sufficient storage crates are built and available — no loose items or piles Receive and send CN Trailers; directly oversee their loading and unloading Conduct weekly inventory of company supplies and communicate needs to prevent shortages Maintain a clean, organized warehouse with all equipment stored in designated locations Ensure debit machines are returned and docked nightly Sign off on incoming and outgoing warehouse loads; certify Bingos Complete investigations for missing items Quality Control Ensure courtesy calls are made to all clients prior to arrival Drive 5-star reviews through your own performance and the performance of your team Train, mentor, and coach movers to improve skill and efficiency Ensure padding, TV crating, packing of fragile and glass items meet company standards Conduct on-site QC inspections and deliver on-the-spot coaching Ensure all Long Distance and Local Storage moves have completed Tag/List and Bingo procedures uploaded to Jobber, with hard copies filed properly Keep trucks stocked with appropriate equipment; flag repair and maintenance concerns Leadership & Training Coordinate onboarding and training for new hires; incorporate them into jobs appropriately Complete employee progress reports and participate in HR/Personnel Manager meetings Host weekly team meetings to address communication gaps, training needs, and feedback Inspect your team daily — dress code, readiness, and mindset before every job Review assignments with the team ahead of arrival; set goals after client walkthroughs Be available by phone after hours for payment disputes or field challenges Motivate, recognize, and support your drivers and swampers consistently Enforce all brand standards and company policies; hold your team accountable Problem Solving Apply foresight to anticipate and prevent issues before they arise Offer solutions when escalating to the office — you're on the front line Use sound judgment when transporting goods and serving clients Partner with the office when facing roadblocks that require authority What We're Looking For Valid Class 5 driver's license (or higher), held for at least 3 years Minimum of 3 years Foreman experience in the moving industry Clean driving abstract Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs; physical endurance for demanding work Comfortable operating large commercial vehicles Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) Customer-first attitude and professional appearance Willingness to work a flexible schedule including early starts and occasional out-of-town jobs High school diploma or equivalent Legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident) Pay & Compensation Starting at $36/hr (negotiable based on experience) Benefits & Perks ✈️ Relocation assistance provided — we'll cover your moving costs to Vancouver Full health and dental benefits after 6 months Paid training Annual performance reviews and pay increases Uniform provided Year-round, stable employment Company events and a strong team culture Clear growth path into lead, senior foreman, and operations roles — we promote from within Schedule & Work Details Full-time: 35–50 hours per week Up to 70 hours per week on Long Distance jobs Flexible schedule based on customer needs Early start times In-person, physically demanding, safety-sensitive role This position is open to candidates anywhere in Canada.
