As Manager, Financial Reporting, you will be a key member of the Finance leadership team, responsible for overseeing the preparation and integrity of the organization’s internal and external financial reporting in a public-company environment, while collaborating with senior management and various teams within the organization. Reporting to the Controller - Corporate Reporting, this role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely financial disclosures under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). * Job location: Calgary, Alberta * Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts * Safety sensitive position: No * Application deadline: May 8, 2026 Key Accountabilities: * Lead, mentor and develop a team of high-performing professionals within the financial reporting team, providing guidance, coaching and performance management to support professional growth and ensure an effective financial reporting function * Oversee and participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, and the MD&A, and assist in the preparation and review of other public disclosures * Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial information across external disclosures and internal reporting; while meeting strict internal and external reporting deadlines * Support statutory, regulatory, and stock exchange reporting requirements * Oversee the preparation of financial materials for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee * Support a robust internal control framework over financial reporting * Coordinate with external auditors, manage audit timelines, requests, and resolution of findings * Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance and business teams to ensure alignment between financial reporting requirements and operational activities * Involvement in preparing formal memorandums and advising senior leadership of significant reporting matters * Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and systems. Support finance transformation initiatives, including automation and reporting optimization. * In coordination with the accounting policy team, lead the upcoming adoption of IFRS 18 in the Company’s financial statements and MD&A.
