About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a highly visible role where you will act as a trusted advisor, bringing clarity, insight, and thoughtful challenge to support strategic decision-making across the business. In this role, you will manage the FP&A function, providing high-quality financial and economic insights that support business planning, growth initiatives, and key projects across the Company. While the role has no direct reports, you will lead through influence, partnering closely with leaders and the executive team to drive alignment and deliver meaningful outcomes. You are someone who brings both strong technical capability and a collaborative approach, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical insights. Your experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within the resources sector, will enable you to provide accurate and timely guidance that supports confident decision-making. With a naturally engaging communication style and strong commercial awareness, you build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation. You are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and thrive in an environment where you can make a genuine impact. Roster: 5/2 Location: Brisbane CBD Travel options Residential - no housing Key responsibilities Lead the Group planning cycle, including Life of Mine plans, annual budgets, forecasts, and risk assessments Develop, maintain, and support Life of Mine planning models across operations Consolidate operational submissions and present planning outcomes to leadership and the Board Conduct scenario modelling and financial analysis on group performance, cash flow, commodity prices, trends, and cost-saving opportunities Manage the Group planning and cash flow systems (Workday Adaptive), including system enhancements, capital governance, and forecasting Provide financial modelling and evaluation support for projects, contract tenders, Technical Services, Growth teams, and external market analysis Qualifications and experience Tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a mining-related discipline Proven experience in corporate planning, financial modelling, and investment analysis within complex environments Strong understanding of mining processes and value chain interdependencies Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Familiarity with Power BI, QlikView, or Workday Adaptive (desirable) MAKE AN IMPACT, GET RECOGNISED – BE AN AURELIAN At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
