Role Description

As a Financial Institution Partnerships Manager, you'll work directly with global networks such as Visa and Mastercard to launch innovative card products and drive white-label payment initiatives with leading businesses worldwide. This is a full-time on-site role located in the London Area, United Kingdom. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions to drive strategic partnerships. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities in the financial sector, negotiating agreements, managing partner relationships, and monitoring partnership performance. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of partnerships to meet business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in partnerships, account management, business development, payments, fintech, banking, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and grow strategic partnerships that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience managing key accounts and cultivating long-term relationships with clients, financial institutions, payment partners, or other external stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, assess risks, and support partnership growth initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make informed business recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of the cross-border payments ecosystem, including acquiring, pricing, clearing and settlement, foreign exchange (FX), and partnership models involving banks, payment service providers, and financial institutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, compliance, finance, and technology functions.
  • Proficiency in using AI-powered tools, automation platforms, and digital productivity solutions to enhance workflow efficiency and decision-making.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working across different cultures and time zones in a global business setting.
  • Professional fluency in English is required; additional language capabilities are an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, International Trade, Marketing, or a related discipline.
