Financial Control Lead – New Zealand Be the face of Finance and a key contact within the region. Work closely with wider Finance teams to provide coordinated delivery and lead local technical accounting research and positions. Review month‑end financial results, including analysis of provisions, key balance sheet accounts, and P&L performance. Provide value adding to Company Management and Boards. The individual will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Finance professionals and will serve as an integral member of a centralized finance function. The business partnering aspects of the role will deliver financial analysis and insights to senior management for business decision-making. Establishing positive partnering relationships across Finance will strengthen opportunities to add value by asking questions, testing thinking, and sharing insights, intelligence, and ideas, always through a continuous improvement lens. Furthermore, the Financial Controls Lead will support and maintain financial control aspects, including providing accounting advice, the preparation and delivery of financial and board reporting, and supporting external audit engagements. This multifaceted role requires a strong focus on ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and managing legislative changes effectively to support successful execution of Finance operations. The individual in this role will continually support the improvement of financial reporting for the business, contributing to the organization's strategic objectives and fostering growth within the wider industry.
