About this role
OmegaPack DMCC is a UAE-based flexible packaging trading company. We supply and support advanced packaging p and machinery solutions across the region, partnering with leading clients in the flexible packaging industry.
We are hiring two Field Engineers to join our Technical Services team — one with an Electrical background and one with a Mechanical background. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that covers the full lifecycle of technical support, from machine installation and commissioning through to breakdown maintenance and on-site troubleshooting.
Importantly, this is an international travelling position. The successful candidates will travel regularly to client sites across the region — including India, Pakistan, and other countries — and will serve as key technical points of contact for clients operating PE blown film lines.
This role requires frequent international travel. Candidates must be able and willing to travel readily to client sites across the region, including India, Pakistan, and other countries in the region.

• Carry out installation and commissioning of PE blown film lines and related equipment at client sites.
• Perform breakdown maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to minimise client downtime.
• Provide customer-facing technical service, troubleshooting, and on-site support.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on PE blown film extrusion lines.
• Advise clients on machine optimisation, preventive maintenance, and best operating practices.
• Travel internationally to client sites — including India, Pakistan, and other countries in the region — to deliver on-site support.
• Document service activities, prepare technical reports, and provide feedback to the internal technical team.
• Collaborate with the wider technical team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (for the Electrical position) or Mechanical Engineering (for the Mechanical position).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience working on PE blown film lines from Windmöller & Hölscher, Hosokawa Alpine, or Reifenhäuser.
• Strong combined electrical and mechanical background.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults in a production environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis, including to India and Pakistan (essential).
• Fluency in English (mandatory); additional languages (Arabic, Hindi/Urdu) are an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
