Family Physician – Float Position (Multiple Openings) Hybrid Onsite/Remote | Sacramento HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting seasoned, highly skilled Family Physicians for a Float Position supporting one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this primary care physician role. This role is designed for a flexible, high-performing physician who can seamlessly transition between in-person coverage and telemedicine, while maintaining strong clinical throughput and patient care standards. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care across all age groups Manage acute, chronic, and preventive care needs efficiently Deliver both in-person and telehealth visits depending on coverage needs Support clinic continuity by covering provider absences and leave schedules Maintain consistent patient flow while ensuring quality care outcomes Collaborate with medical leadership and interdisciplinary teams Complete accurate and compliant documentation within EMR systems Support same-day telemedicine visits when not scheduled onsite Required Qualifications (Highly Important) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Active California medical license Active DEA license Minimum 2+ years outpatient clinical experience (no new grads considered) Ability to manage high-volume patient flow (3 patients per hour / 20-minute visits) Strong EMR documentation skills Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship) Stable and consistent employment history Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Valued) Experience in community health or outpatient primary care settings Familiarity with Epic EMR Bilingual Spanish proficiency Experience balancing telehealth and in-person care delivery Adaptability across multiple clinic environments or locations HireNow Disqualifiers Jumpy or unstable employment history New graduates without required clinical experience Inability to meet patient volume expectations Lack of outpatient or primary care experience No EMR proficiency Preference for highly structured or single-site roles only HireNow Checklist HireNow Staffing is recruiting candidates who align with the following: Board-certified/eligible physician with active CA license and DEA Minimum 2+ years outpatient primary care experience Proven ability to consistently manage 3 patients per hour Experience in community health or similar patient-focused settings Comfortable with both in-person and telehealth care delivery Strong EMR skills (Epic preferred) Stable employment history demonstrating consistency and performance Ideal Candidate Profile: Flexible physician comfortable working across multiple care settings Efficient clinician who maintains high-quality care under volume expectations Strong communicator with patient-centered approach Adaptable provider who can support both onsite and remote coverage HireNow Package Salary: $212,160 – $275,808 base Location: Hybrid (Onsite + Remote) in Sacramento Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts | 8–40 hours/week | No on-call requirement Benefits: Up to $10,000 relocation assistance Student loan repayment programs (NHSC, SLRP, PSLF) Medical, dental, vision insurance 20 PTO days + 8 holidays + 5 sick days 403(b) with 100% match up to 4% 5 CME days + CME reimbursement Hybrid flexibility with telemedicine integration HireNow Staffing Disclaimer HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this role.
